Tonight will see the first Texas Lottery draw of the week take place and the jackpot available to win is estimated at $22 million. Therefore many ticket holders in this mid-week draw will be crossing their fingers and hoping that luck will be on their side tonight, so that they can match all six of the numbers drawn to walk away with the top prize. This current Texas Lottery jackpot has rolled over a total of 18 times, so the question is will any players strike lucky tonight or will the top prize rollover for the 19th time in a row?
On Saturday night the Powerball jackpot available to win reached $336 million – a very impressive amount to win. This meant many ticket holders were crossing their fingers and hoping they would match the numbers drawn and this was the case for one ticket holder, as they matched the five plus Powerball combination drawn to scoop the Powerball jackpot to become the first top prize winners for this year. This particular winning ticket was bought in Rhode Island, however the identity of the holder (or holders if bought in a syndicate) is yet to be known.
Tonight players in the Powerball will be crossing their fingers and hoping that they will match the numbers drawn to become top prize winners as the Powerball jackpot available to win is estimated at $250 million. This impressive top prize has rolled over a total of 12 times and to date this year this multi-state lottery is yet to have any Powerball jackpot winners. Therefore, the question is will any players strike lucky in tonight’s draw and match the Powerball results, or will the top prize remain elusive and rollover for the 13th time in a row?
In Friday’s Lotto Max draw there was a jackpot of CAD $50 million available to win, and we all know that when this Canadian lottery hits it maximum top prize of CAD $50 million, the additional game of MaxMillions starts up. In Friday’s draw (27th January 2012) there were two MaxMillions draws that took place and both of these extra draws had winners. However, in the main Lotto Max draw no players matched the numbers drawn to become top prize winners, meaning that this Friday’s draw has an estimated ten MaxMillions draws set to take place.
Last night the Mega Millions had its first draw of the week and there was a $71 million jackpot available to win. The results from this Tuesday night draw reveal that one winning ticket matched all five of the main numbers along with the Mega Ball to take home the Mega Millions jackpot. The owner (or owners if it is a syndicate) identity is yet to be revealed, however the desired winning ticket was bought in the participating state of Georgia.
The Powerball organisers, the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) announced last year that it was going to make some adjustments to its game and many rumors circulated as to what these would be. However, now (as of the 15th January 2012) changes have been made to the Powerball game, and will play out for the first time in tonight’s draw. The jackpot available to win in this first draw of the week and first with the changes is estimated at $80 million, but what exactly are these adjustments that have been made to the Powerball?
On the 23rd December 2011 the Lotto Max reached its jackpot limit meaning that there was a $50 million top prize available to win. However, no one won it so it rolled to the following draw where one winning ticket matched the Lotto Max results to win the $50 million jackpot on the 30th December 2011. The holders of this ticket were a couple from Ontario named as JoAnn and Gaetan Champagne, but it now seems that these Lotto Max jackpot winners will now have to wait for their payout.
Saturday night saw the last draw of 2011 take place for the California Lottery, however no players managed to match all five of the numbers drawn along with the Mega Ball to win the top prize. This means that there is now a triple rollover jackpot available to win in tonight’s California Lottery draw that is estimated at $10 million. Also known as the California Super Lotto Plus, this draw tonight will be the first of the year for this lottery game – but will any players become the first jackpot winners of 2012 this evening?
As traditions go, the El Gordo Navidad draw, which takes place on Thursday 22nd December, is one of the country's most loved lotteries, and will have all eyes in Spain watching this special draw. The El Gordo Navidad, which roughly translates as ‘the Christmas jackpot’ has the biggest prize pool available to win in the world. Tomorrow will see ticket holders all try and win one of the 1,202,490 cash prizes from the €2.5 billion (US $3.25 million) prize pool. While many world lotteries work by smaller amounts of players winning large sums of money, the El Gordo Navidad works slightly differently.
On Saturday night the Florida Lottery weekend draw took place and yet again players failed to match the six numbers drawn to win the top prize. This means that the Florida Lottery has rolled over yet again and the jackpot is now estimated at $45 million. This current top prize has been rolling over since the 17th September 2011, meaning that it has now rolled over a total of 24 times, so the big question is will anyone win the Florida Lottery jackpot tonight or will it carry on remaining elusive?
Since the three asset managers came forward and collected their $254 million Powerball prize there have been numerous news reports suggesting they are covering for the real winner. These are just rumours but there seemed to be a certain amount of truth in what people were saying. However, the Powerball trio has now declared they are the only winners of the biggest jackpot won in Connecticut. In a document sent to Powerball lottery officials they stated that they were the only winners to be benefiting from this jackpot win.
The Powerball jackpot win of $254 million remained unclaimed for a few weeks however it was announced earlier this week that the winners are three asset managers from Greenwich, Connecticut. However, since these three men came forward to collect their jackpot win many news reports are asking are these the real Powerball winners? Although these might just be rumours and the men could be the real owners of $254 million jackpot the circumstances surrounding this win do seem a bit odd to say the least.
Many rumors circulated around the Powerball winners however the holders of this ticket have now come forward to claim their massive winnings. The holders of this winning Powerball ticket are three bankers from Greenwich, Connecticut which is already one of the more wealthier towns in America. The winners are Greg Skidmore, Brandon Lacoff and Tim Davidson who are all asset managers. The jackpot win of $254 million took place on November 2nd which means these three bankers weren’t exactly in a rush to claim their winnings.
The Lotto Max reached its jackpot cap of CAD $50 million on November 11th and exactly one week later the top prize has been scooped up. The Lotto Max jackpot was won by a couple on Fridays draw. This couple is known as Don and Linda Ingram who successfully matched the Lotto Max results to win the life changing CAD $50 million. The fortunate couple both work as cooks at Wally’s World, an Oshawa diner for the last 15 years and both nearly passed out when they found out they had won! The winning numbers on Friday were 8, 17, 27, 28, 39, 44, 49 and the Bonus Ball was 24.
Lotto Max is an attractive Canadian lottery game to play as its boats impressive jackpots from frequent rollovers. However Lotto Max has climbed up to CAD $50 million which is actually the highest amount it can reach. This now means Maxmillions starts up, this is where the excess prize money above and beyoond the jackpot cap for Lotto Max goes and is then distributed via extra draws. Maxmillions is an extra draw which is bound to get people’s attention because while the jackpot stays elusive players can win a CAD $1 million prize whilst playing this extra lottery game.
The Powerball jackpot of $245 million was won by a lucky ticket in last Wednesday’s draw however the Powerball jackpot still remains unclaimed. The Powerball lottery officials have said that the winning ticket was bought in Connecticut, however that is currently all the information that is known about the winner. Many rumors have started to circulate about the jackpot winner, some of which state that they may have actually lost their winning Powerball ticket. Normally jackpot winners don’t hang around when it comes to claiming their winnings as they don’t want to lose a very expensive piece of paper...
Tonight sees one of American’s biggest lotteries the Powerball have a jackpot that is worth an estimated $245 million available to win. The top prize has reached this truly impressive height due to the fact that it has rolled over a total of 12 times. It started to rollover on Saturday 17th September 2011 and since then players haven’t been fortunate to match the winning Powerball numbers. On Saturday’s draw 12 players were just one number away from scooping this jackpot, therefore took home $200,000 each.
It has definitely been a long time coming but the jackpot has finally been won in the Ohio Classic Lottery. Last night the Monday draw took place and no longer can this American Lottery jackpot keep rolling over. The top prize reached an impressive $50.4 million after it has been rolling since May 5th 2010 – that’s means it has rolled over more than 200 hundred times! It is unknown yet as to whether there was more than one winning ticket in this Ohio Lottery but whoever the winner – or winners are, they should be very happy with themselves.
It’s back to basics for the UK Lotto jackpot, with the top prize estimated at £2.2 million following a total of five players sharing the top prize of £14,663,305 from Saturday’s draw. With each winner claiming £2,932,661 each, tonight could see a single UK Lotto ticket holder scooping a similar amount – that is if no one else happens to match the winning numbers! Failing that, there are four additional prizes up for grabs should players be interested in becoming potential midweek winners…
The midweek Powerball draw will take place tonight and the current jackpot has reached $86 million. This is due to the fact that this multi-state lottery has rolled over a total of seven times since the beginning of September when one player won the top prize of $25,000,000. To take home the top prize tonight Powerball players need to match total of six balls in order to become this month’s first jackpot winner!
Last night’s EuroMillions Big Tuesday draw failed to make anyone jackpot winners with the top prize of £86,290,000/€100,000,000. This now means that the jackpot for the EuroMillions rolls over to the next draw and the jackpot is now estimated at £100/€119 million. The impressive jackpot on offer to win last night was due to the fact that it was a EuroMillions Superdraw so it automatically had a high jackpot, regardless of the previous jackpot amount.
The Texas Lottery has rolled again as its last draw on Saturday 24th September failed to secure a jackpot winner. The next draw will take place this evening and it has an estimated jackpot of $9 million. This is the fifth time in a row that the Texas Lottery has rolled over. The last player to win the jackpot was at the beginning of the month when six numbers were matched correctly to win the jackpot prize of $25 million.
The MegaMillions reaches a new high for the draw taking place this evening and currently has the largest jackpot prize on offer in the world of lottery. After rolling over yet again following Tuesday's draw, players of this US multi state lottery game now have a massive $86 million to play for this evening - which is great news not just for players in the US, but for those all over the globe as this is the kind of high that will grab the attention of players far and wide.
Last weekend UK players had a fantastic National Lottery jackpot of £6.5 million to play for after the previous draw failed to produce a winner. The great news is that there is now another chance to win as the National Lottery rollover jackpot climbs again after the draw on Saturday failed to produce a winner - as no one managed to match the winning numbers for a second time. So if you love to play for the bigger UK jackpots, then you have got lots to be excited about with an estimated £10 million in the prize pool tonight for the UK Lottery!
Whichever side of the Atlantic you live, there will be one of two rollover jackpots for Tuesday draws that will interest you this week. The weekend lottery draws brought excitement once again to players all over the world as several lottery games failed to produce a winner but in turn, increased their jackpots. One of those was the MegaMillions, the US multi state game which would have been the most popular lottery game for US players at the weekend.
It might be the US that is boasting one of the largest lottery jackpots with the MegaMillions currently standing at a cool $65 million but this will in no way dampen the spirits of those players in the UK. After the Wednesday evening draw, the UK Lotto game from National Lottery rolls over to give this patriotic nation a jackpot of £6.5 million to play for on Saturday 17th September. This may not be anywhere near the size of other world lottery games but for the UK this is a real treat.
An exciting round of midweek lottery draws that took place on Tuesday night brought change to the world of lottery with the massive EuroMillions jackpot scooped as the MegaMillions rolls one more time. This means that the EuroMillions will now return to its starting point of €15 million for the draw on Friday while the MegaMillions jackpot bumps up to a mouth watering $65 million with draws for both of these lottery games next taking place on Friday 16th September.
After a weekend of exciting lottery draws the lottery world is gripped by the EuroMillions jackpot as the Tuesday draw looms closer. Friday night saw this lottery game roll over for a twelfth consecutive time to bring a mind blowing €159/£138 million for the next draw that will take place on Tuesday 13th September. Although EuroMillions is technically a European lottery game the interest will be worldwide and with a jackpot of this size, it is not difficult to see why.
There is one lottery game that the world will have its eye on this evening and that is the EuroMillions. After no players picked the winning numbers on the draw that took place on Tuesday, the EuroMillions rolls over eleven times to bump the jackpot up to a massive €146 million or £126 million for those players in the UK - which is a big thing in lottery news. Of course this is an estimated jackpot and we won’t actually know the true figure until the draw actually takes place.
Because of the excitement surrounding other big world lottery games and the fantastic jackpots that they are carrying, one other big lottery game has been overlooked at times. There is still no SuperEnalotto Jackpot winner going into the next draw which will take place on Thursday 8th September, meaning that the jackpot has risen to a massive €59.9 million. Aside from the EuroMillions, this means that the Superenalotto jackpot is one of the biggest in Europe this week which is very exciting news.
It has been a weekend of much excitement in the world of lottery and it looks set to continue to the midweek draws as the PowerBall and EuroMillions roll again. While most of the news has been focused on the bumper EuroMillions jackpot over the last week or two, many may have overlooked the fact that the PowerBall jackpot continues to grow, which is great news for players in the US. The last time that there was a jackpot winner on the PowerBall was 11th August, so we have seen almost a month of rollovers on this lottery game for it reach the monster jackpot of $75 million that it has reached today.
There has been a huge buzz across the whole world where the lottery is concerned over recent weeks and it seems that it is likely to continue this week with yet more rollovers after the weekend draws. The UK’s National Lottery boasts another rollover jackpot for the next draw taking place on Wednesday after no one managed to match the winning numbers drawn on the Saturday night draw and this creates a midweek jackpot of £6.5 million to play for on Wednesday.
There is another weekend of bumper lottery jackpots for Europe to enjoy in the world of lottery with two of the most talked about producing yet another round of rollovers from the midweek draws. The EuroMillions is one of them and probably the one that will be of most interest, closely followed by the Italian game, SuperEnalotto and finally the UK’s National Lottery game deserves a mention for a different reason.
The world of lottery will be going stir crazy this week with the amount of huge jackpots on offer and players in the US will be particularly pleased to see the PowerBall Jackpot steadily rising. A MegaMillions jackpot win last weekend means that all focus will be on the PowerBall at the moment with its nearest rival in the lottery world being the EuroMillions on the other side of the Atlantic but we all know there is always room for more than one big jackpot.
After an electric weekend of rollover jackpots to play for on the UK’s National Lottery and the EuroMillions, the UK and the rest of Europe will be braced for more of the same for the midweek draws. There have been no winners on this game through August so the €65 million jackpot will not be surprising.
If an offer seems too good to be true then the rule of thumb is, that it most probably is especially when it come to the lottery. A care home owner caught out by a lottery scam found out the hard way and as a result his private care home in Gillingham has gone into receivership and forced to close as a result of one such lottery scam, leaving staff unpaid and residents looking for alternative care homes to move into. Mr Raj, the care home owner was told he had won €3 million in a foreign lottery but had to pay £70,000 to cover taxes before the winnings could be released.

We have seen many US state lottery games making changes in a bid to boost revenue of late after ticket sales have either dwindled or not increased at the predicted rate. It has been announced that changes are coming to the Florida Lottery very soon for exactly the same reason and players will see some very exciting additions to how they can play the game and how they can get information on the games which are on offer from the Florida Lottery.

The lottery world has been keeping a close eye on both US multi state lottery games this week as both were boasting two of the biggest jackpots in the world at the time. There was one winner for the MegaMillions on the draw that took place on Friday, who came from Ohio and scooped a fantastic $99 million prize. No details of the winner have been released at this time and it is not even sure if this lucky MegaMillions winner has yet claimed their win.
The Massachusetts Lottery ends loophole winners run on the game Cash Winfall after those who had the money to take advantage had been profiting during what is known as rolldown weeks on this lottery game from the Massachusetts Lottery. Rolldowns are when the game jackpot exceeds $2 million and nobody picks the winning jackpot numbers forcing the jackpot pool to go to those lottery players who match only four or five numbers instead of all six.
Sales are slowing as casinos and internet cafes lure players away from the Florida Lottery but officials are well aware of the downfalls of the state lottery and have everything in hand. The Florida Lottery is set for an overhaul which is to include a complete rebranding of the game but also an indepth review of how the Florida Lottery is run and what else can be done to drive up ticket sales and make the game more appealing to players.
There are no less than three unclaimed National Lottery prizes expiring this month, one of which will expire in just a few days time. The total of these unclaimed prizes amounts to just over £406,600 so there are no potential millionaires at risk of missing out this month but the prizes are all still very significant all the same and well worth claiming. All three are from the main National Lottery game, Lotto and all three draws took place in February 2011.

The US PowerBall jackpot soars to a massive $133 million after the draw on Wednesday failed to produce a winner, meaning that the jackpot has rolled over again prompting a ticket buying frenzy across all participating US states and beyond.
We have heard many times in the past about the lucky lottery players who have a couple of significant win on the lottery and defied all odds and expectations. However, the news of three big lottery wins for a lucky US family will leave many people all over the globe stunned. After a government shutdown lasting almost three weeks, the Minnesota Lottery ticket sales restarted yesterday much to the joy of the many residents of the state who have been missing out during this period. A special legislative session put an end to the shutdown which began on 1st July and those players who held winning lottery tickets prior to the shutdown but didn’t redeem them will now be able to do so by visiting one of the many lottery retailers throughout Minnesota.
For those of you who thought that a single significant win on a lottery was highly unlikely then the news that there were two $10k wins for a Georgia Lottery player will be a complete shock. However, the fact that this Georgia Lottery player had the two $10k wins is not the only part of the story that will raise eyebrows. Both of these wins were just two months apart with the first one coming in May on the Maximum Green Extra Chance Drawing.
It has been an exciting few weeks in Europe with regards to the lottery world and last week saw many players across the globe stunned as single UK ticket scoop the breaking EuroMillions jackpot. Don’t be fooled into thinking that lottery fever will disappear too quickly though because as always, when one big jackpot is gone there is always another for players to focus on. For a while at least all eyes will turn to SuperEnalotto, the Italian lottery game that is well known for boasting some of biggest jackpots in Europe.
Tuesdays £161/€185 million EuroMillions winners Chris and Colin Weir face the press after speculation as to who the UK winner or winners may have been. The couple who have been married for 30 years are from Largs in Ayrshire. A bold move by the couple to go public came after the realisation that even with the best efforts, they would not be able to keep such a large win a total secret and the thought of trying to make up stories to prevent the news of their EuroMillions win being known, proved to be an unattractive prospect.
We are often surprised at the amount of significant lottery prizes that go unclaimed and find it hard to understand why people go to the effort to play, obviously with hope of winning big but then not collect their winnings when they do. However, it is feared that a $1 million PowerBall prize that is left unclaimed for 11 weeks could be due to a devastating chain of events in which case, this ticket holder would be truly devastated.

Last week we brought the news to you that the Minnesota Lottery had been halted due to a government shutdown that began on 1st July. Although this is not good news for Minnesota, which like many states it heavily relies on the revenue brought in from its lottery games, one other state has benefited from the shutdown. Iowa Lottery ticket sales soar as players from Minnesota venture across the border into Iowa to play the Iowa Lottery as an alternative.
While many lottery players around the globe were left reeling that the massive rollover jackpot was not won on Friday, there was EuroMillions disappointment for a French player who was left reeling for a completely different reason. Euromillions lottery fever has been sweeping Europe as players rushed to buy tickets for last nights draw that boasted a whopping €185/£166 million jackpot. For the first time since a rule change came into play on Friday 6th March 2009 the jackpot reached it's 'cap' and for second level prize tier winners this meant that overnight they became millionaires because no one managed to match 5 main numbers and two Lucky Stars with the numbers 12, 13, 23, 40, 49 and Lucky Stars 7 and 10.
A couple from Alton, Illinois are $675,000 richer today as the Missouri Lottery jackpot winners collect their prize more than a month after their winning numbers were drawn. The Missouri Lottery draw which took place on 25th June saw Ernie and Jude Stephens scoop a $1.9 million jackpot win after their $5 Quick Pick ticket came up trumps matching the numbers 6, 10, 20, 30, 38 and 40. Choosing the lump sum option, the Missouri Lottery winners have taken home the $675,000 after taxes have been deducted.
Across Europe last night many a player clambered to check the Euromillions results to see if they had become a member of the Rich List overnight but unfortunately, or is it fortunately? there were no Match 5 and 2 Lucky Star winners. This means that the Euromillions cap will be reached this Friday night. So how does this affect the prize fund and the amount of money available to all prize tiers? Already the jackpot is estimated at the cap amount, €185 million, but over the last few draws we have seen the estimated jackpot amount topped by a couple of million more.
